Fraudulent e-mail messages
Some customers have reported receiving fraudulent e-mail messages from the Online security department, Federal Reserve System that appear to be sent from a treasury.gov or federalreserve.gov e-mail address. The e-mails reference New Changes for Wire transfers and instruct recipients to click on a link. These e-mails were NOT sent by the Federal Reserve Banks. The Federal Reserve Banks do NOT communicate directly with businesses or consumers.
